Gina Giordan is an accomplished television host, producer, writer, director, news, entertainment and lifestyle correspondent. Currently, Gina is a contributing reporter for People Magazine TV and ABC correspondent for their hit celebrity driven series, "On the Red Carpet." Gina is also the host and creator of the syndicated Entertainment series “In the Mixx” produced by GMG Entertainment. ITM recently premiered on People Magazine TV and Hamptons Magazine TV.  Since 2002, Gina has created and hosted several popular entertainment, lifestyle shows and series on News 12 Long Island including “What’s Hot in the Hamptons,” “What’s Hot on LI” and “Christmas with the Stars” plus, a weekly social and entertainment news column in “Dans Papers” entitled, “Whispers.” Since 2004, Gina also hosted, wrote and produced “Main Street Series” on Hamptons.com. Gina helped put News 12 on the map of entertainment by making N12 a credible entertainment and lifestyle resource.  She consistently delivers viewers an all access pass that is culturally diverse from A-List movie premieres, charity events, to the most exclusive parties. Gina continues to raise the bar and demands her programming include a socially responsible balance between charity, society and celebrity. Yet, what seriously catapults Gina into a different league of coverage is Gina’s natural ability to connect with all kinds of people. Gina utilizes her unique skills to dig past the publicized headlines and elicit the real story. Gina successfully moves beyond the typical gossip to uncover a more meaningful message that has the power to inspire viewers.  

Over the years, countless famous faces have chosen Gina to interpret and reveal their side of the story. When Lindsay Lohan’s mom Dina, spoke out for the first time about her famous daughter’s well-being and emergency visit into rehab, Dina Lohan chose Gina to tell their story.  When Dina Lohan decided to publically fight back at the paparazzi, she invited Gina, to exclusively share her story and join her family on a journey from NY to LA where the family reunited with Lindsay for The Insider and Entertainment Tonight. When Hampton native and singer Samantha Cole revealed her relationship with Christie Brinkley’s ex-husband, Peter Cook, Samantha chose Gina exclusively to disclose her story to the world. When PR Exec, Lizzie Grubman was ready to publicly apologize and divulge her controversial story, she chose Gina to come to her home for an exclusive interview. Gina’s broadcasting career began at Fox 5 WNYW, in New York City, as a Publicity production coordinator working with well-known TV news personalities such as, Rosanna Scotto and John Roland.  She later moved on to write and produce for the “The Jon Stewart Show.”  In addition to writing and producing topical promos, Gina appeared in numerous comedy segments with Jon Stewart, Dave Attell and several prime-time comedians. Gina moved onto writing and producing promos at WCBS. A year later, The “Rosie O’Donnell Show” hand-picked Gina to fulfill the position of Director of On-Air Promotions and the first show Field Producer. Gina was busy directing, writing and producing closely with Rosie and Telepictures. She helped create all Rosie’s On-Air campaigns, and countless entertainment segments including the very popular segment “The Dreschers.” Gina received Daytime Emmy Award Honors in 1997 and 1998 from the show, and in 1998, Gina won a Promax Gold Medallion for The Best Entertainment Campaign Worldwide. In 2000, Gina formed her own production company, GMG Entertainment, creating, reporting, directing, writing and executive producing under her company for numerous clients over the years including; “The Late Show with David Letterman”  “Comedy Central”  “Nickelodeon” “LifeTime” “HBO” “WE” “Logo” “TVLand” and “MTV” where she created several highly rated original specials and series.  Gina continues to contribute to the Insider, Entertainment Tonight, Fox News, CBS and NBC affiliates as an entertainment and lifestyle expert. Gina remains dedicated to supporting social issues, sharing their missions and ultimately raising awareness in New York and way beyond.
