Gina’s broadcasting career began at Fox 5 WNYW, in New York City, as a Publicity production coordinator working with well-known TV news personalities such as, Rosanna Scotto and John Roland. She later moved on to write and produce for the “The Jon Stewart Show.” In addition to writing and producing topical promos, Gina appeared in numerous comedy segments with Jon Stewart, Dave Attell and several prime-time comedians. Gina moved onto writing and producing promos at WCBS. A year later, The “Rosie O’Donnell Show” hand-picked Gina to fulfill the position of Director of On-Air Promotions and the first show Field Producer. Gina was busy directing, writing and producing closely with Rosie and Telepictures. She helped create all Rosie’s On-Air campaigns, and countless entertainment segments including the very popular segment “The Dreschers.” Gina received Daytime Emmy Award Honors in 1997 and 1998 from the show, and in 1998, Gina won a Promax Gold Medallion for The Best Entertainment Campaign Worldwide. In 2000, Gina formed her own production company, GMG Entertainment, creating, reporting, directing, writing and executive producing under her company for numerous clients over the years including; “The Late Show with David Letterman” “Comedy Central” “Nickelodeon” “LifeTime” “HBO” “WE” “Logo” “TVLand” and “MTV” where she created several highly rated original specials and series. Gina continues to contribute to the Insider, Entertainment Tonight, Fox News, CBS and NBC affiliates as an entertainment and lifestyle expert.
